Description

In this game, teams square off to answer questions about legal issues affecting the lives of 12-to-17-year-olds.

Pedagogical objectives

  • Increase students’ knowledge of the law.
  • Encourage reflection on the origins and fairness of certain laws.
  • Develop skills to identify the legal aspects of a situation.

Secondary II

Compulsory specific concepts, and related topics and examples: Self-determination, Freedom of choice.

Secondary IV

Cultural realities and compulsory main concepts: Justice and the law - Justice and Legal and judicial institutions.

Compulsory specific concepts, and related topics and examples: Types of justice, Courts and legal recourse, Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Criminal Code and Civil Code.
